Account Executive

Job Description
We are hiring for OpenObserve , a fast-growing, developer-forward observability platform (logs, metrics, traces) used by engineering teams across SaaS, fintech, e-commerce and enterprise. Customers choose it to cut observability spend, simplify Kubernetes-heavy stacks and speed up incident response, often replacing Datadog, Elastic or Splunk.
\n \nABOUT THE ROLE
\nYou will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and sell to DevOps, Platform and Engineering leaders: find opportunities through outbound, run technical conversations, and take prospects through evaluation to a decision. The team is also building its outbound and pipeline function, so we are open to different levels of the sales track, from strong outbound and pipeline specialists with a technical background to experienced senior and enterprise sellers. We set level and scope together after the first conversations.
\n \nWHAT YOU WILL DO
\n- Build pipeline through outbound: email, LinkedIn, events, community, account-based plays
\n- Run discovery on a prospect's current observability stack, costs and pain points
\n- Work with Solutions Engineering on technical evaluations and POCs (depending on level)
\n- Turn OpenObserve's cost and performance advantages into a clear business case
\n- Keep the pipeline clean in HubSpot and share market feedback with the team
\n \nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
\nThe core requirement is technical understanding combined with sales experience.
\n- B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling devtools, cloud, infrastructure or observability to engineering and DevOps teams
\n- Technical fluency: you can hold a conversation about Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud costs, logs, metrics and traces
\n- A record of hitting or exceeding targets, with consistency over more than one good year
\n- Creative, self-directed outbound: you build pipeline rather than wait for it
\n- Clear communication with both engineers and executives
\n- Early-stage mindset: comfortable with ambiguity and building process from scratch
\n- Nice to have: experience selling against Datadog, Elastic, Splunk or similar
