Your Role with the Company As the Corporate Controller, you will report directly to the CFO. As a team player and with good interpersonal skills, you are responsible to supervise and coordinate all accounting and administrative activities including Contract Administration, AP, AR, and Payroll, while providing support to other general and administrative departments, business units, and construction projects to assist in their administrative financial needs. With your dedication and hard work, you are responsible to provide accurate and timely financial statements every month, quarter, and annually. As a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills, you will coordinate with external auditors in annual and other special audit functions, as well as external tax compliance firms on annual tax filing functions. Evaluate financial information and analyze problems logically to develop solutions and direct in-service training and development of accounting staff. Extensive knowledge of generally accepted standard accounting policies and procedures (GAAP) and construction principles, in particular. Experience in the construction or related industry is required. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills are a plus.
