Purchasing Specialist

We are seeking an organized Purchasing Specialist to support purchasing and inventory control across our Bethel and Royalton facilities. This hybrid role combines office procurement duties (creating POs, managing vendor relationships, negotiating pricing) with hands‑on inventory control in our warehouse spaces. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Issue purchase orders (POs) and monitor purchasing inboxes to track order status. Source packaging, supplies, and materials while negotiating cost-effective supplier pricing. Review requisitions, supplier specifications while providing the accounting team with appropriate documentation (W-9s, Credit Apps). Conduct regular cycle counts for packaging, inks, and plant supplies across Bethel, Grantham and Royalton locations on a regular basis. Resolve vendor order discrepancies, shipping delays, or damaged freight issues. Manages Supplier Corrective Action Requests. Maintain and ensure compliance with all required documentation for key suppliers within a regulated medical manufacturing environment. Qualifications & Requirements Associate’s degree or equivalent practical experience in purchasing, materials, or supply chain. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and purchase order / ERP software platforms. Strong communication, negotiation, and attention to detail. Ability to work comfortably in both office and warehouse environments. Ability to travel periodically between the Bethel, Grantham and Royalton facilities. Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, and assist with inventory counts. Work Full-time (Flexibility for occasional additional hours during peak operational needs).
