The CNA assists nurses with preparing patients for tests, treatments, and surgery. This might involve taking vital signs, collecting samples, and changing dressings. Cna - Requirements Current certification as a CNA by the State Department of Consumer Affairs. A minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years. Has and maintains current BCLS certification. Can provide nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients. Must have US citizenship. Must have COVID Vaccine Certification.
