Information Security Analyst

The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Analyst with a strong understanding of security protocols risk management and network infrastructure This individual will be responsible for protecting our companys sensitive data and systems from potential cyber threats The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures. Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing Analyze security risks and develop mitigation strategies Implement and maintain security protocols including firewalls intrusion detection systems access controls etc Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies Train employees on information security best practices Respond to security incidents in a timely manner Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field At least 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols TCPIP SSLTLS etc Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys Experience with intrusion detectionprevention systems IDSIPS Knowledge of risk management frameworks ISO 27001 NIST Understanding of web application security OWASP Top 10 Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or GIAC are preferred Location Los Angeles Employment Type Full-time Salary $1400 per month Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates #J-18808-Ljbffr
