Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout the examination process
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Solid technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
