Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Browns Summi, NC Employment Type: Contract to direct Industry: Manufacturing Compensation: $65k - $80k Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7am - 4pm

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoots problems with the facility and facility equipment.
• Requisitions repairs or recommends replacements based on diagnosis of problems.
• Supervises and coordinates installations and/or repairs of equipment, electrical, pneumatics, air, water, and sewer by working with outside contractors.
• Works to expedite installations and/or repairs to avoid delays in production.
• Obtains competitive quotes from reputable and quality vendors when pricing for goods and/or services.
• Assists in the training of operation of facility equipment.
• Maintains an ongoing preventative/predictive maintenance program for facility and facility equipment.
• Maintains an organized parts inventory.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

1. High school diploma and GED equivalent.
2. Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience required.
3. Minimum 2 years Maintenance experience required.

What Sets You Apart:

• Food processing experience preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, lifting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work as team member and meet assigned deadlines.
• Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools, and equipment.
• Perform any and all other duties as instructed by leadership and management.
