Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital | 25 Beds

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Colville, WA . The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult, pediatric, neonatal, maternity, and OB patient populations in acute care settings. This role requires strong ventilator management, airway management, emergency response, and respiratory therapy skills in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Administer respiratory medications and aerosol therapies as ordered
• Perform arterial punctures, ABG analysis, and oxygen therapy management
• Manage ventilators including BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV, HFNC, and mechanical ventilation
• Assist with intubation, extubation, airway suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Support high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and neonatal respiratory interventions
• Respond to respiratory emergencies in critical care and emergency department settings

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience
• Family maternity and OB experience required
• Experience with C-sections and neonatal respiratory support required
• Active Washington State License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• NRP Certification
• PALS Certification
• Experience with Epic charting system required

Clinical Skills & Experience

Respiratory Therapy & Ventilator Management

• BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, SIMV, IMV
• Mechanical ventilation management and weaning
• Troubleshooting ventilator alarms
• Airway management and oxygen therapy

Preferred Experience

• Adult Critical Care
• Emergency Department
• Trauma and Delivery Experience
• Pediatric and Neonatal Respiratory Care
• Ventilator and advanced airway management experience
