Lab Intern (Co-Op)

McWilliams Forge Company, in Rockaway, NJ, is a well‑established leader in the manufacture of precision forged products for the aerospace industry. We are seeking a Lab Intern for our metallurgy and lab department. We are looking for a candidate who has obtained or is currently pursuing a degree in engineering or related fields. A hard, driven worker who is eager to learn with the ability to follow instruction. This is an internship role with direct supervision. Requirements Receive POS in Visual per the Inbound report lab supervisor provides every morning. Maintain the Retention database, this includes working with process engineer and sometimes our customer to document the retention information per part. Scrap material and document what is being scrapped, weight and material. Train to perform full labs. Scanning of optical reports in our database for archiving. Help with 6S initiatives.
