Position Overview The Counter Sales Representative will assist customers in the showroom with purchasing, order pick‑up, and providing product knowledge within the flooring industry. Branch Walcro in Plymouth, MN Work Schedule Monday‑Friday 7:30am-4:30pm Pay $21 per hour Essential Functions Customer Service Greet and assist walk‑in customers. Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions based on customer needs. Direct customers to appropriate products and displays. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer emails regarding products, pricing, and order information. Resolve customer concerns and, when necessary, escalate issues. Sales Upsell and cross‑sell products to maximize sales opportunities. Support sales representatives, customer care, and other departments as needed. Process sales orders and quotes. Safety & Housekeeping Follow OSHA and company safety regulations. Use proper lifting techniques and material handling procedures. Maintain showroom displays, product samples, and merchandising standards. Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Degree. Work Experience 0-1 year of customer service, sales, and/or showroom experience. Experience working with Point of Sales systems (POS). Physical Demand and Work Environment Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Basic math skills and reading comprehension skills. Frequent bending, lifting, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
