Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS


Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred
Must have experience in adult medical/surgical care, adult critical care, and general pediatrics.
Travel experience preferred.
Starting date within the next 3-5 weeks is preferred.


Description:
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
The perfect candidate will have experience in adult medical and surgical care, as well as adult critical care and general pediatrics.
Experience in a Level II or Level III Trauma facility is preferred.
The therapist will be responsible for managing patients with various pulmonary disorders, including trauma cases.
The role includes performing respiratory therapy procedures and interventions, as well as conducting assessments and monitoring patient progress.
Experience with handling high-risk deliveries and providing care for neonates is preferred.
Knowledge of operating respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and aerosol therapy devices, is essential.
The candidate should have the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Familiarity with Cerner charting systems is preferred.
The therapist will be expected to perform arterial blood gas analyses and interpret the results.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
Compliance with all patient safety and care standards is required.
This position will require weekend coverage as part of the scheduling.
The facility operates 402 beds and sees a wide range of ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
