Join our team! San Antonio and University Health are growing! This opening for a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist in beautiful San Antonio, Texas offers a collaborative environment among passionate healthcare professionals where they make a difference every day.

Summary:

Enjoy a balanced professional and personal lifestyle that includes:

• Employed (W2) position
• Monday-Friday schedule (no weekends) Monday through Friday work schedule with some weekend call (2nd call)
• 2nd Call only for an average of 1:6. No in-house calls. There is a CRNA on site and a CRNA on the first call.
• Coverage of advanced diagnostic center, ambulatory surgery center and daylight hospital coverage
• Functions as a consultant to CRNA's (100% case delegation). Completes chart checks, clearing patients for anesthesia, collaboration with specialists
• Opportunity to participate in the UMA Anesthesiology Program, which utilizes the delegation of privileges model
