Contacts all insurance companies to verify description of patient(s) medical plan benefits Estimates patient financial responsibilities. Interacts with physicians, personnel, and patients regarding financial issues.

Required Skills

• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with employees and vendors.
• Sound knowledge of accounting theory and practices.
• Understanding of payroll and benefits practices and procedures.
• Capability to work with rigid deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
• Supervisory experience
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Mathematical skills required to calculate percentages, interest, and practical application of accounts payable functions.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma and/or related experience

• One to two years related experience and/or training.
