School-Based LVN (1:1 Student Support) | 2026–2027 School Year

Pay: Starting at $33/hour

Location: San Bernardino County, CA

Schedule: 30+ hours per week | Monday–Friday | School-Day Hours

Amergis is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide individualized 1:1 care for students during the 2026–2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for LVNs who enjoy working with children and want a consistent weekday schedule while making a meaningful impact in the educational setting.

As a School-Based LVN, you will support a student throughout the school day, helping ensure their health, safety, and ability to participate fully in academic and school activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing support to an assigned student throughout the school day

• Monitor and document the student's health status and respond appropriately to changes in condition

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district guidelines

• Collaborate with school nurses, teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity of care

• Assist with classroom participation, campus transitions, and transportation support when required

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation

• Follow individualized healthcare plans and established nursing protocols

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Pediatric, school-based, or special needs experience preferred

• Ability to work independently while following individualized care plans

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

• Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care
