Reference Data Product Owner - Associate

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience in product, financial services, technology, project management, or a related field
• Ability to quickly learn and absorb business and technical knowledge
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with business and technology stakeholders and management
• Experience on projects involving diverse stakeholders and technology in a financial-services environment
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder-influencing skills
• Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Preferred: Agile project management experience and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Lucid
• Preferred: Knowledge of JIRA, SQL, Microsoft applications, Databricks, and analytical or visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Python
• Preferred: Experience collaborating across functions
• Preferred: Ability to streamline workflows and improve product efficiency

• Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders
• Facilitate user acceptance testing with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure quality deliverables
• Define product vision and strategy in line with business goals
• Organize, schedule, coordinate, and manage project activities and resources
• Train and support users in understanding the data product
• Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation approaches, and manage communication or escalation
• Gather user feedback to improve product functionality and experience
• Manage multiple deliverables and meet committed timelines while maintaining quality
• Work with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, product consumers, and technology teams across the firm
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, backlog reviews, and sprint planning
• Coordinate work across multiple workstreams, resolve risks and issues, and track delivery progress
