We are seeking a dedicated Veterinarian to provide comprehensive care for small animals, primarily pets, within private clinics or shelter and rescue organizations. This role focuses on routine veterinary services supported by skilled veterinary technicians and assistants, without emergency on-call duties.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage health conditions in small animals
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform surgeries and routine medical procedures
- Provide preventive care and vaccinations
- Monitor patient recovery and progress
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding animal health
- Manage medications and prescriptions
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Educate clients on animal health and wellness
Required Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in veterinary medicine
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Valid Veterinary License
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of animal anatomy and surgery
- Strong diagnostic and pharmacology skills
- Excellent client communication abilities
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate approach to animal care
