Responsibilities- Assist in the setup and operation of various machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
- Support experienced machinists in fabricating and assembling precision parts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance machining skills and knowledge.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training in machining is a plus.
- Strong interest in machining and manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced machinists.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
