Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in the emergency room, managing a caseload of patients with a variety of ER-type diagnoses.
• Perform triage, direct bedding, and manage ER holds in coordination with other ER staff.
• Utilize emergency medical systems, such as Meditech, and perform duties including phlebotomy and nurse draws.
• Collaborate with in-house RT and imaging departments for patient assessments and interventions.
• Adhere to shift scheduling, weekend, and holiday requirements as determined by unit needs.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• 2-3 years of ER experience; adept at working independently and self-motivated.
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records system.
• Ability to work every other weekend and meet holiday requirements.
