HIRING VETERINARIAN for New Spay/Neuter Clinic
Limestone County, AL
Nonprofit high-quality high-volume (HQHV) spay/neuter clinic is seeking a vet who is excited about making a significant impact in a fast-growing community drowning in homeless cats and dogs. Our goal is to find ways to remove barriers to spay/neuter. Clinic opening date is Sept. 15, 2026.
Requirements include:
- Examine animals pre-operatively to determine their ability to withstand surgery.
- Perform surgical sterilizations.
- Examine animals post-operatively to ensure appropriate healing.
- Supervise handling and recording of controlled substances by veterinary technicians.
- Supervise post-operative recheck.
- Experience with high-volume spay/neuter is a big plus.
- Veterinary license with minimum two years experience
Benefits:
