Branch Hours Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Friday, 8:30 AM to 6 PM Saturday, 9 AM to 1 PM
Nature And Scope
- Performs transactional duties to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with high accuracy.
- Provides cash receipt and payment services in accordance with credit union policies and procedures.
- Presents and explains a basic number of credit union products and services to members.
- Represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service preferred.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently and within deadlines.
- Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job.
- Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related State and federal laws and regulations.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Principal Accountabilities
- Provides friendly, courteous, and expedient teller and other related services to members resulting in a balanced cash drawer daily.
- Cross-sells other member services.
- Processes mail deposits and withdrawals.
- May assist in balancing the ATM (if not performed by an outside source).
- May train to perform open/closing duties (with manager on site).
- May train to verify checks for other tellers.
- May train to perform overrides.
- May be cross trained to help in other positions within the branch.
- May be required to attend training at headquarters or an off-site location.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
