Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care

License: RN license required

Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have: Experience working in different Med/Surg units (cardiac, spine, neuro) Epic experience required Basic Arrhythmia experience Telemetry test required before starting

Description: Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to complex and dynamic patient populations. Float across multiple departments and specialties. Utilize critical thinking skills to evaluate and assess patients. Recognize and escalate complications as needed. Administer appropriate nursing interventions. Demonstrate a commitment to patient and family-centered nursing care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, nursing assistants, and advanced practice providers. Effectively delegate tasks as appropriate. Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and infection control protocols. Manage and administer various therapies and medications as required. Participate in the management and monitoring of telemetry patients. Be prepared to float to neuro and oncology units as necessary. Must pass a telemetry exam before start. Maintain a flexible and adaptive approach to care delivery.
