Emergency Medicine Physician

Emergency Medicine physician employment in Florida : HCA Florida West Hospital system location in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking a full-time emergency medicine (EM) assistant medical director. As part of our team, you will enjoy flexibility with cross-credentialing across multiple sites, allowing you to choose the practice setting that best fits your skills and lifestyle. This robust hospital system offers a wide variety of practice settings with four hospital locations.

Our Facilities

HCA Florida West Hospital: 65,000 annual visits
Perdido Bay FSED: 30,000 annual visits
Pea Ridge FSED: 18,000 annual visits
Pine Forest FSED: 15,000 annual visits

Qualifications and Leadership Duties

Leadership experience strongly preferred
ABEM/AOBEM: board certified or board eligible
Support the facility medical director in overseeing ED operations and clinical performance
Provide guidance to the team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care
Monitor patient outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives that enhance care, quality and efficiency
Champion safety and best practices throughout the emergency department
