Full-Time or Part-Time | School-Based Opportunity Setting: Preschool & School-Age Program (Ages 312)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive, New York Stateapproved educational program serving preschool and school-age students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about helping young learners build communication and language skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy to students ages 312
- Support expressive and receptive language development
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, BCBA, and clinical staff
- Participate in evaluations, progress monitoring, and team meetings
- Utilize evidence-based strategies, including PECS and communication supports
- Contribute to a nurturing, high-support educational environment
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New York State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
- TSSLD Certification
- Fluent in Spanish
- Experience with preschool and/or school-age students preferred
- Comfort working with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities
