Alternate locations will be considered on an exception basis.Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.Meet the TeamOur team is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to provide OPEX support to the Routing Software Engineering Organization. This role provides the unique opportunity to help support the forecasting and reporting for the business as well as influence strategic investment decisions. Solid organizational, financial modeling, communication, influencing, and business partnering skills will help you find success in this role.Your ImpactBudgeting and Opex Management – Support Engineering leadership prioritization and decision making, portfolio planning, annual budgeting and quarterly commit processes, month-end and quarterly close activities, forecasting/reporting/variance analysis, driving compliance.Provide Finance support to a VP in Engineering and manage a budget of ~$48M per quarter.Drive forecast accuracy throughout the quarter to ensure the teams spends to the commit target.Model headcount costs and discretionary spend to provide opportunities to pull back or accelerate spend based on areas of prioritization by the team.Proactively provide updates on actual spend and bottoms up forecasts throughout the quarter through monthly presentations to the VP in Engineering Partner closely within our Finance team and Engineering Operations lead to collaborate and establish best practices across the organization.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance or Business-related field with 3+ years of relevant experienceIntermediate Excel skills is a requirementProficiency with finance tools such as Essbase, Business Objects, FinABC, Budget Tool, SI (Systems Integrator)Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Previous OpEx or COGS Experience is preferredCurrently or previously held a role in the Business Entity (BE) organizationHas shown an ability to drive process improvements and automationExperience in PowerBI, Tableau or other finance tools for building dashboardWhy Cisco?
