The RPA Developer will support a range of customers by automating business processes via tools such as Power Automate. The RPA Developer will need to work across the entire automation and development life cycle. The RPA Developer will need a strong background in software development and business process analysis. The RPA Developer will collaborate with functional leads to identify business processes that can be automated, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity.The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide support and expertise toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables. Key to the success of this position is the effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status. The place of performance for this position is in Arlington, VA. This position requires an active secret clearance. ResponsibilitiesDevelop optimized strategies for automating business processes using the Microsoft Power PlatformDevelop custom applications using PowerAppsDevelop complex custom workflows using Power Automate to automate business processesDesign technical solutions to automate business processes and build automations using either Microsoft Power Automate or UiPath, depending on customer requirementsCreate and execute tests to evaluate functional and non-functional performance of solutionsDocument and update solution designs throughout the automation life cyclePerform detailed estimations for the time and effort to complete aspects of the projectTroubleshoot and resolve incidents in the production environmentCollaborate with a business analyst to work directly with clients to define requirements, explore solutions, and assess the technical feasibility of RPA or Power Platform solutions for the given problemEducate and train business stakeholders on deployed solutions by establishing knowledge base articles and user guides, hosting live training sessions, conducting formal training, developing training modules, and other methods to ensure successful adoption by the business groupsMeet with customers to gather additional requirements detail or resolve incidents in productionAdhere to best practices and participate in team meetings to further mature standards and practices of the development teamProvide feedback to other developers by performing code reviews and technical design reviewsEvaluate change requests to determine approach and level of effort and communicate it back to either the project team or customerGenerate quality deliverables with little supervisionQualificationsBachelor 's degree (Engineering or similar field)Work experience in software development, data science, or tech consultingMust have strong written and verbal communicationsMust have strong analytical skillsMust be able to work independently with minimal oversightExperience with software development and/or codingExperience with Power Automate and/or UIPathExperience working with Microsoft Power PlatformAble to develop strong client relationshipsPhysical and Mental Qualifications:Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.Perform the essential functions of the role satisfactorily; reasonable accommodation will be provided for employees with disabilities upon request.Accept and adapt to additional responsibilities or changes to assigned duties as determined by DirectViz Solutions (DVS).If you thrive on solving complex problems and building meaningful connections, we'd love to hear from you.
