Product Manager – DEWALT Hand Tools Location: Towson, MD or New Britain, CT, United States (Hybrid) The Job We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead the life‑cycle of DEWALT hand tools. Responsibilities Manage the complete product lifecycle from concept to delivery. Assist in market functions relating to assigned product lines and general departmental functions. Drive and develop new products while overseeing and managing quality issues and developing sales and promotion programs. Develop and implement relevant point‑of‑purchase displays, materials and web content; benchmark competitors and perform competitive pricing analysis. Responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategic plan for the profitable management of pricing, gross margins, collateral materials & point‑of‑purchase; includes monthly forecasting and detailed tactics required to achieve strategic objectives. Maintain awareness of industry trends and deep understanding of end users to incorporate insights into new product launches. Support and prepare for customer meetings, presentations and line reviews. Lead cross‑functional teams to achieve company objectives; act as point of contact for manufacturing, purchasing, sales, quality and engineering. Validate product CTQs, testing & claims with end users. Provide product training to internal and external stakeholders. Evaluate and develop product line total sales and product positioning; manage annual marketing budget and profit & loss of the product line. Qualifications BS or BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of Product Management experience in the consumer products industry and working directly with retailers or other large customers. Ability to work effectively across functions and lead teams; must be able to present data and conclusions in an organized manner. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously in a large global company. High commitment and follow‑through with high say‑do ratio. The salary may vary depending on job level, geographic location, job‑related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience and compliance with local wage requirements. A successful candidate may be eligible for annual merit increases.
