TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Cartersville, Georgia, 30120!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Patient care experience in a medical/surgical unit - Familiarity with charting systems preferred - Experience in a facility with adult and geriatric patients Description: Unit operates on the weekend every other week. No call is required. Floating may occur within the facility as needed and within the scope of practice. The traveler is expected to work on major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. The traveler is expected to work two out of three holidays if three major holidays fall during their assignment. Full compliance is required to start on time; if compliance is not met, there could be a two-week delay due to the orientation schedule. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Previous charge experience is beneficial. Patient ratio experience of 5 is preferred, with a focus on maintaining quality care standards. The unit supports diverse patient diagnoses. Daily census is approximately 20 patients. Preferred experience includes familiarity with trauma levels and community hospital settings. Skills in wound care, management of IVs, telemetry, and total joint replacements are necessary. Candidates should be knowledgeable about isolation precautions and feeding tube management. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in patient care for adults and geriatrics.
