What You'll Do

• Provide expert care for patients with digestive system conditions, including gastrointestinal, liver, and pancreatic disorders
• Perform colonoscopies and upper endoscopies (EGD)
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds
• Manage patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up
• Refer patients for surgery or specialized care as needed
• Collaborate with medical staff and contribute to clinical decisions
• Complete administrative documentation using EPIC or other electronic records systems

What You Need
Required:

• NY State Medical License in hand
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in the last two years
• Valid BLS, ACLS, AHA or RQI certifications
• Proven experience with PEG tube placement, esophageal dilation, and scope procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred:

• Experience with ERCP/EUS (referral out)
• Ability to work full weeks and handle night shifts
• Strong clinical and administrative skills
