Material handler

Randstad is hiring a Material Handler for a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with our client in Alameda, CA! Working a reliable Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, you will play a central role on the manufacturing floor. We are looking for someone with solid incoming receiving experience to inspect incoming parts, manage stock, and keep daily production running smoothly.

salary: $21 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory cycle counts, maintain stock accuracy, and track materials across inventory control areas.
• Kit work orders and stage raw materials and components to ensure Production Technicians meet daily operational targets.
• Receive, organize, and inspect incoming materials, verifying part numbers, quantities, and documentation prior to release.
• Conduct basic functional component testing and package finished goods in compliance with quality standards and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, barcode scanners, and computer systems while keeping workstations organized according to 5S principles.
• Flex across multiple production floor departments and proactively report any material non-conformance issues
