Audio Visual Support Technician

Pay Range: $19.00hr - $24.00hr Job Overview: The Audio Visual Support Technician delivers on-site technical support for IT and AV infrastructure. This role involves managing hardware, resolving connectivity issues, assisting with event setups, and maintaining asset inventory while delivering professional customer service. Responsibilities: Provide on-site and technical support to users, addressing IT issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity. Manage asset inventory, including tracking, updating, and maintaining records of IT equipment. Perform imaging and refreshing of computers and other devices to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, including printer problems, software errors, and network connectivity issues. Assist in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio and video equipment, including projectors, microphones, and video conferencing systems. Support live events by operating AV systems and addressing technical issues as they arise. Collaborate with senior technicians and IT staff to resolve complex issues and improve support processes. Deliver professional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and equipment maintenance. Provide smart hands support in the IDF switch room. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, equivalent industry experience, or technical certifications/coursework in IT or AV technology. Familiarity with the ServiceNow ticketing system. Proven experience providing IT support in an office environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of audio and video equipment and their functions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel to various client locations as needed. Candidates from a technical education background with at least one year of experience are encouraged to apply, provided they demonstrate a rapid learning curve for the role. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with video conferencing platforms, common office tools, and operating systems. Basic knowledge of networking and cabling. Experience with asset management software and IT service management tools. Familiarity with life sciences, healthcare, or pharmaceutical environments, including HIPAA standards.
