Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides diagnostic imaging services through X-ray procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Operates imaging equipment accurately and adheres to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain patient history and explain procedures to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Position patients and operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure all images meet quality standards for radiologist review.
• Follow safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and equipment usage.
• Assist in equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions promptly.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current certification and registration as an X-ray Technologist.
• Proven experience in operating X-ray and radiology equipment.
• Knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
