Mechanic

AS A MECHANIC You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of fleet vehicles and equipment. MECHANIC DUTIES INCLUDE Performing needed repairs and preventive maintenance on vehicles and landscaping equipment Initiating service calls and/or ordering parts needed for equipment repairs Performing skilled repair or maintenance operations, using equipment such as hand or power tools, hydraulic presses or shears, or welding equipment Following all maintenance policies and procedures Inspecting, testing, and/or completing work, using devices such as hand tools or gauges to verify conformance to standards or repair requirements Monitoring tool and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shops to ensure adequate working conditions Small Engine Repair/Troubleshoot MECHANIC QUALIFICATIONS Experience in performing a daily inspection on fleet vehicles and landscaping equipment for readiness Familiar with DOT Requirements/Regulations Certifications Preferred Class A CDL Driver’s License preferred with Clear Motor Vehicle Record COMPENSATION / BENEFITS $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Medical, Dental, Vision, Liability, and several more supplemental insurance options 401K plan with partial match* Paid Vacation, Sick Leave, and Holidays* EDUCATION High School or equivalent required Associates Degree preferred Equal Employment Opportunity RCI is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
