Travel Radiology RN (Newark, NJ) We are looking for a travel radiology RN who will be on a 13‑week assignment starting July 08 2026. Specialty: Radiology RN Location: Newark, NJ Salary: $2823 per week Start Date: July 08 2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, day Responsibilities As a Radiology RN, you will care for patients in a diagnostic environment, collaborating with technologists and physicians to implement diagnostic procedures. Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusion ports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction, insert Foley catheters, and assist patients with personal needs. Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs. Perform specialized nursing duties such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures. Closely monitor patients with cardiac/pulse oximeters. Physical Demands Radiology RN positions require the ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Nurses must be able to lift 20 pounds easily and may need to lift patients up to 50 pounds. Exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases is possible.
