Material handler/forklift operator job details:Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PMPay rate: $22-$23/HRHealthcare benefits after 30 daysWeekly payNo weekendsRoom for growthMaterial handler/forklift operator job description:Move completed packages using pallet jack, material handling equipmentResponsible for the packaging, inspection, and shipment of a variety of small and large manufactured hardware productsPreparing shipments for safe transit, and verifying accuracy of packed orders against customer specifications and production work orders by weighing, measuring, inspecting, and labeling the itemsPerform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials prepared for shipmentPick, pack, wrap, foam, and seal product to ensure quality during transitMaterial handler/forklift operator job requirements:High school diploma, GED, or equivalentMinimum 1 year of forklift experience preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to accurately count parts and pieces of varying size and shapeBasic shop skills, such as using hand tools and basic measurement devicesKnowledge of the manufacturing trade - calipers, rulers, tape measures7-year criminal background check and drug screeningPeopleShare is the leading staffing agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
