Software Development Engineer, AWS Database

Salary: $143,400 - 143,400 per year Requirements:

• We need a bachelors degree, or an equivalent foreign qualification, in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• We require 3+ years of professional software development experience outside of internships.
• We require 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including patterns for reliability and scale.
• We need experience programming in at least one software language.
• We require an active TS/SCI U.S. government security clearance.
• Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

• We work directly with our largest and most demanding customers to solve specific needs across our full service portfolio.
• We dig into complex technical issues and focus on improving the customer experience.
• We write code, troubleshoot problems, and build tools to address technical challenges.
• We analyze difficult Linux and networking issues in large-scale distributed environments.
• We participate in deep-dive investigations and post-mortem reviews to identify root causes.
• We develop and deploy solutions at massive scale across thousands of devices.
• We streamline processes and use the right technologies to solve problems effectively.
