Qualifications Here's What You Need H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required Other Graduate of an AMA approved / accredited Ultrasound Program Preferred Associate's Degree Preferred 1 Year experience in a hospital setting Preferred BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Sonography Upon Hire Preferred And ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Sonography 12 Months Required Or ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers Upon Hire Preferred And ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers 12 Months Required Skills Competency in scanning/equipment operation. Excellent Communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
