Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Santa Ana, CA bakery. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be accountable for supporting the safe and efficient operation of facility and production equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, maintaining facility standards, and ensuring food safety, quality, and production goals are achieved.

Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 12:00 PM 9:30 PM Weekend Availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational equipment issues.
• Support production teams by responding to maintenance requests and minimizing disruptions.
• Inspect, maintain, and monitor facility systems, including boiler operations and utilities.
• Conduct facility inspections and proactively identify and address maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance work environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and workplace safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance practices.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to work weekends and assigned shift schedules.
• Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and climbing as required.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or bakery environment.
• GMP and HACCP training or certification.
• Sit-down and stand-up forklift certification.
• Boom lift and scissor lift certification.
• Experience working with maintenance management systems and preventive maintenance programs.
