Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel nursing opportunity. This position offers guaranteed hours with a start date of December 14. The role includes providing high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 1:6 for both day and night shifts
• Staffing Description: Technician available for every 10-12 patients
• Type of Equipment: Dynamap (WelchAllyn), Telemetry with screens at the nurses' station, Alaris IV pumps
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend
• Floating Policy: First to float between ortho or telemetry units, based on competencies
• Patient Experience Requirements: Bedside shift report, hourly safety rounds, AIDET, and personal connections with patients

Requirements

• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Must Have Skills: Time management, IV start skills, patient experience skills
• Advanced Skills Needed: Proficiency in procedures performed on the unit, excluding those requiring conscious sedation

Dress Code

Charcoal gray top and bottom scrubs are required.
