Recycle Center SorterRecycling Works has an immediate opening for a 2nd Shift - Recycle Center Sorter to join the team in Elkhart, Indiana.Waste Connections offers:Competitive compensation.Safety bonuses – Get rewarded for your safe habits.Yearly boot stipend and company uniforms provided.Benefits plans – Flexible spending accounts and health savings account options.Generous matching 401(K).Pay rate: $17.00/hr plus approximately 10 or so hours of overtime weekly.(overtime is time and a half after 40)Schedule: 2:00pm start time normally finishing around 10:30-11:00pm.Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.Duties and responsibilities:Responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials.Will sort recycled material onto different conveyor belts and move material to the appropriate areas.Responsible for the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.Assuming custodial duties as needed.Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.Requirements:Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
