Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification in Special Education for the appropriate grade levels
- Experience teaching in a school environment, particularly in special education settings

- Effective communication skills with students, families, and colleagues
- Ability to manage classrooms using positive behavioral support strategies
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in developing tailored instructional methods
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction aligned to students’ IEP goals, adapting curriculum as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers
- Develop and maintain clear, accurate records including documentation of student progress, behavior plans, and family communications
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and advocating for student needs
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence
- Implement evidence-based interventions and assessments to help ensure student success
