Medical Assistant - Vascular Surgery

Our client is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support clinical operations and deliver excellent patient care. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, dependable, and known for having a calm, positive bedside manner. You will play a key role in ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for throughout their visit. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.

Medical Assistant's Responsibilities and Duties

• Room patients efficiently and prepare them for examinations
• Accurately take and record vital signs
• Perform blood draws and assist with basic clinical procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic EMR system
• Support providers with patient flow and clinical needs
• Uphold patient confidentiality and follow all safety and compliance protocols
• Deliver a consistently warm, professional patient experience

Medical Assistant's Qualifications and Skills

• Certified Medical Assistant required
• Proven experience with blood draws, rooming patients, and taking vitals
• Hands-on experience using Epic as an EMR system
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
