Project ManagerWe're supporting a growing power protection & distribution equipment manufacturer with a Project Manager opportunity for their production facility in the Spring/Tomball area. This direct hire position will support company leadership with ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget. Ideal candidate will be familiar with low & medium voltage switchgear, MCC's, PCR's, and other electrical equipment projects, and have experience with in-person and virtual client meetings.Position SummaryThe Project Manager is responsible for leading the execution of electrical infrastructure and power distribution projects from contract release through production, shipment, and closeout. This role ensures alignment across Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer stakeholders.This role plays a critical function in ensuring that scope, schedule, cost, and execution are aligned, enabling projects to progress efficiently from engineering release through production and final delivery. The position requires strong ownership, leadership, and the ability to drive accountability in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & Ownership Maintain and drive project schedules, trackers, and execution plansTrack project milestones, deliverables, and key deadlines across all active jobsEnsure alignment between: Engineering release timelines, Material availability, Production scheduleLead execution meetings and drive accountability across all teamsIdentify risks, delays, and constraints and drive mitigation actionsEnsure projects progress according to committed timelinesFinancial & Commercial Management Own project financial performance including Labor tracking, Material costs, Overall project marginEnsure alignment between procurement, execution, and budgetSupport billing milestones and project invoicingIdentify and escalate cost risks earlyMaintain visibility of financial performance throughout project lifecycleChange Management & Engineering Coordination Own and enforce Engineering Request and Change Order processesEnsure all changes are documented, reviewed, and approved prior to executionPrevent uncontrolled changes in productionCoordinate implementation of approved changes across teamsEnsure drawings, BOMs, and documentation match actual buildCross-Functional Coordination Coordinate communication between Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply ChainEnsure readiness for production including drawings, BOMs, and materialsRemove blockers impacting executionSupport production flow and scheduling alignmentCustomer Communication & Interface Act as primary customer contact post-project kickoffProvide regular updates on Schedule, Progress, Risks, IssuesManage customer expectations and resolution of issuesCoordinate customer approvals, inspections, and deliverablesDocumentation & Project Control Maintain project documentation including Customer PO and scope, Drawings and revisions, Change orders, Project reportsEnsure documentation is current and aligned with executionTrack approvals and revisionsCommunication & Issue Resolution Maintain clear communication across all stakeholdersEscalate issues impacting schedule, cost, or qualityDrive issue resolution and accountabilityEnsure closure of action itemsGeneral Responsibilities Follow company processes and standardsDrive continuous improvement in executionMaintain organization and accountabilityPerform additional duties as requiredQualificationsRequired5+ years experience in Project management, Electrical or industrial projects, Manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of project execution and schedulingAbility to manage multiple projectsStrong communication and leadership skillsPreferredExperience in Switchgear, Power distribution systems, Electrical infrastructureFamiliarity with Smartsheet, Procurement processes, Financial trackingKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)On-time project deliverySchedule adherenceMargin performanceReduction in delaysCustomer satisfactionWork EnvironmentOffice and shop coordinationFast-paced, project-driven environmentCross-functional leadership required
