Position: Director of Operations - Administrative Office Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Job Id: 322 # of Openings: 1 Salary: $82,201.60 - $129,792.00 This full‑time Director of Operations will lead operational excellence across clinical and administrative departments of Eastern Iowa Health Center, partnering with department leaders, guiding continuous improvement, and ensuring regulatory compliance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with department leaders in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Behavioral Health, Dental and all Patient Services to develop and execute a comprehensive operational excellence strategy including hiring, onboarding, and mentoring staff. Lead end-to-end process reviews across clinical and administrative workflows in the designated departments. Serve as a champion for a continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization, guiding teams through the change management process. Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure all process improvements align with regulatory requirements and clinical standards. SCHEDULE Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Strong leadership and communication skills to guide diverse teams. Comfortable using data, technology, and operational tools to drive results. Strategic mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field. Progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of Community Health Centers / Federally Qualified Health Centers. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred. At least 5 years of leadership experience in a clinic setting preferred. Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) preferred; equivalent training and process improvement experience considered.
