This is a varied, self-directed role for someone who is comfortable handling a wide range of maintenance work — from routine upkeep and skilled repairs to seasonal grounds work and the occasional after-hours emergency. If you take pride in your work, enjoy being out in the Colorado high country, and like that no two days look the same, we'd like to hear from you.What You'll DoGeneral Property UpkeepPerform routine maintenance and light repairs across common areas, clubhouses, and buildingsManage trash and recycling staging, common-area cleaning, and unit turnoversInspect properties regularly and report developing issues before they become problemsCoordinate with and oversee outside vendors and contractors as neededSkilled Trades & Handyman WorkHandle basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry, and appliance repairsTroubleshoot and resolve a broad range of repair issues independentlyKnow when a job is beyond scope and needs a licensed specialistGrounds & Seasonal WorkSnow removal and ice management for walkways, drives, and common areas through the winter seasonLandscaping upkeep, irrigation checks, and general grounds maintenance in the warmer monthsSeasonal preparation of properties for Summit County's mountain climateOn-Call & Emergency ResponseParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours and weekend emergenciesRespond promptly to urgent issues such as water leaks, heating failures, and storm-related damageWhat We're Looking For2+ years of general maintenance, handyman, facilities, or property-maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairsComfortable with snow removal and physical outdoor work in winter conditionsSelf-motivated and dependable, able to manage your own schedule across multiple propertiesWillingness to participate in an on-call rotation for emergenciesValid Colorado driver's license and clean driving recordAble to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (bending, climbing ladders, standing for extended periods)Reside in or near Summit County, or be willing to relocate (reliable winter commuting is essential)Nice to HavePrior experience with HOAs, property management, or multi-unit residential propertiesHVAC, certified trade, or specialized maintenance credentialsOwn basic hand toolsCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $58,000 – $62,000 per year, based on experienceFull-time, year-round, stable employment — not seasonalAdditional benefits available; details discussed during the interview processHow to ApplySubmit your application through this posting, or reach out to Buffalo Mountain Managers directly.
