Organization Diagnostic Radiology Team 11 Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. Position Highlights New grads and experienced technologists are welcome to apply! $10,000 sign on bonus for full‑time positions. Relocation stipend. Industry competitive rates. Full‑time Weekend position | 3x13s | Friday/Saturday/Sunday | Days (7:30 AM – 9:30 PM). Located on main campus and working with an adult patient population. The sign‑on bonus and relocation stipend are not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign‑on bonus and relocation stipend are only available for full‑time positions. Key Responsibilities Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost‑effective imaging. Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards. Provides appropriate screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards. Assists in the orientation and training of new staff. Technical Capabilities Diagnostic Equipment (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate the use of diagnostic tools in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
