About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: Must have Iowa SING BG clearance Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Acute care experience - Experience in a similar size facility Description: Patient population is primarily adults. 36 or 48 hour guarantees can be accommodated. Mandatory onboarding requirements include a criminal background check and child abuse check, which must be fully cleared prior to start. Drug testing is required, specifically a 10 panel screening including opiates. Titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB must be current (within the last 12 months). The emergency department has 17 beds with patient ratios of 1:6. The average daily visit volume is around 40 patients. Floating requirements may apply. The facility offers various services, including critical care, med/surg, acute rehab, and more. Ideal candidates will be adaptable, have strong clinical skills, and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
