Lab Specimen Processor - Tues-Sat, 8:00AM-4:30PM
Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins Viracor seeks a laboratory specimen processor for accessioning, data entry, and sample preparation in a clinical diagnostics setting. The role involves managing specimens through the LIMS, verifying sample integrity, and maintaining quality standards in a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and accessioning using LIMS and specimen tracking systems
- Examine samples for accuracy, stability, volume, and proper labeling before routing
- Manage and maintain sample storage materials including dry ice inventory
- Resolve patient demographic issues and process correction requests as needed
- Maintain quality control records and ensure compliance with laboratory safety policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 30 words per minute typing proficiency
- One year data entry experience preferred; strong database skills
- Clinical laboratory specimen processing experience or equivalent preferred
- Comfortable handling raw biological specimens
- Ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Legal right to work in Lenexa, KS without visa sponsorship
