Overview Location: Chicago, IL Hospital: RUSH University Medical Center Department: Neurological Sciences General Neurology – Headache Medicine - Clinical Faculty RUSH University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for RUSH Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of General Neurology with a focus in Headache Medicine. Responsibilities Join the Department of Neurological Sciences at Rush University Medical Center as BC/BE academic and community Neurologists with a Fellowship in Headache Medicine, at the downtown Main Campus location. Provide outpatient and inpatient care across a wide range of neurological diagnoses. Hold a faculty appointment and contribute to teaching and clinical service in the department. Participate in teaching and research opportunities if desired by the candidate. Collaborate with colleagues across specialties and contribute to the department's clinical and academic mission. Engage with a large neural sciences community and opportunities to teach residents and fellows in clinical subspecialty areas. Qualifications Graduates from an ACGME-accredited neurology residency. Board certified in neurology. Fellowship in Headache Medicine (required for focus in Headache Medicine). Outstanding clinical skills. Faculty rank commensurate with experience.
