What We Have to Offer $30.62 per hour up to $35.53 per hour depending upon skillset and experience Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift Up to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually 11 paid company holidays Paid time off benefits 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, life insurance Career growth and cross-training opportunities Your Work Schedule and Shift Information 8-hour shifts 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Currently hiring for 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift dependent upon business need Two days off per scheduled work week Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, holidays and emergency events as needed Plant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment to improve reliability and operational performance Understand and follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipment Identify/diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, electrical and/or electronic issues Manage work orders, parts requisition, and data entry through understanding and use of Maximo Maintenance Management System Provide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modification Understand, initiate, and participate in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why) Perform both uptime and down time preventative maintenance Effectively communicate and productively interact with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors, vendors, visitors, etc. Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance Assist in training new employees MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English) 2 years (minimum) maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting with electrical experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including completion of an accredited maintenance or industrial technical program (such as an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Technical Manufacturing) Understanding of PLC operation, industrial electrical components and systems troubleshooting Must have a solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ability to diagnose problems, repair or replace components, preventative maintenance and attention to detail Experience with various tools and technologies, including hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Ability to work independently and as a team with flexibility to quickly shift work priorities Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required) Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens ELIGIBILITY Applicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.
