Location Medical Center - Fort Worth Department Psychiatry Shift Third Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours 6 Summary The RN Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering competent, individualized nursing care to patients and families by utilizing the nursing process to augment the established medical plan of treatment. Operating with a strong team orientation, this nurse integrates sound clinical judgment and evidence-based decision-making to address the unique needs of each patient. The role emphasizes exceptional customer relations and professional communication, ensuring that care is delivered with both clinical precision and a high level of service excellence. By maintaining a focus on safety and collaborative practice, the RN Staff Nurse serves as a vital advocate for the patient while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team. Shift Timing 7p - 7a Education / Experience 1 year of direct nursing experience required. Psych experience preferred. Associate's degree in Nursing. Active, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS (American Heart) Post Hire Requirements PALS or NRP and specialty certifications per unit guidelines.
